Residents in Larkhall erect sign welcoming US President Donald Trump to the South Lanarkshire town
The people in the town vow the controversial politician can help make the area "great again"
RESIDENTS in Larkhall have erected a new sign welcoming controversial US President Donald Trump.
The people of the South Lanarkshire town have depicted the American leader standing behind a wall, while claiming he can make the area “great again”.
But they kept their previous message to ISIS in place, telling the terror group to “f*** off”.
Trump - whose mother was Scottish - hasn't been made to feel welcome across the country though.
Thousands of people have taken to the streets in Edinburgh protest of his Muslim ban.
It comes as a top academic warned that the revival Scotland's North Sea oil industry depends on how Trump handles a high-stakes production war with operators in Russia and the Middle East.
And it's not the first time a Larkhall sign has made the headlines.
At the height of the 'killer clowns' craze, the town warned them to "enter if you dare".
