Salary: £39,000 + 12% bonus
A great opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join a well-known and respected food business.
Reporting in to the Operations Manager, the role will be to effectively manage production and packaging of the products, ensuring that targets are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Within this role you will be responsible for a team of multi-skilled operatives and supervisors, ensuring that their targets are met, development targets are achieved and all other shift-related queries are dealt-with effectively.
You will already have Production Manager experience within food or pharmaceutical industries, and have the passion and enthusiasm to drive Continuous Improvement process to achieve better cost effectiveness, productivity, quality and hygiene whilst developing your team to perform and grow in their roles. You will be forward thinking in your outlook and yet be prepared to lead from the front when required.
Duties and responsibilities for the role are Quality Assurance, Cost Control, Packaging & Delivery, Safety & Hygiene, Staff and Environment. To ensure these are all being met, the implementation of Key Performance Indicators; OEE targets, attendance, etc.
