Unicode official Telugu translation page

Hi friends

Does someone have an existing article in Telugu about Unicode, so that it can be put on the Official website of Unicode Consortium ?

They have given the source in Engilsh that is to be translated. With
very strict instructions:

So, I do not think we can use anything else.

Thanks for taking the initiative!
Though i'm not proficient enough for analyzing the article, I'm sure it must be good, & other members can suggest if there can be any betterments.

On the unicode website, I found that we can contact them online here
http://www.unicode.org/reporting.html
and submit our report by selecting 'Type of Message' as 'Submission (FAQ, Tech. Note...)
If needed later, I am ready to talk to them on phone

( i too am based in the same town )

Other members can also suggest any refinements for this article, or way to approach the unicode consortium.

కంప్యూటర్లు ప్రధానంగా అంకెలతో పని చేస్తాయి. ఒక్కో అక్షరానికీ, వర్ణానికీ ఒక్కో సంఖ్యని కేటాయించి నిక్షిప్తం చేసుకొంటాయి. యూనీకోడ్ కనుగొనడానికి ముందు, ఈ విధంగా సంఖ్యలని కేటాయించడం కోసం వందలకొద్దీ సంకేతలిపి (encoding) పద్ధతులు ఉండేవి. ఏ ఒక్క పద్ధతిలోనూ చాలినన్ని వర్ణాలు ఉండేవికాదు: ఉదాహరణకు, ఒక్క ఐరోపా సమాఖ్య లోని భాషలకోసమే చాలా సంకేతలిపి పద్ధతులు కావలసి వచ్చేవి. అంతెందుకు.., ఒక్క ఇంగ్లీషు భాషలోని అన్ని అక్షరాలు, సాధారణ వాడుకలో ఉన్న వ్యాకరణ, సాంకేతిక వర్ణాలకే ఒక్క సంకేతలిపి పద్ధతి ఏదీ సరిపోయేది కాదు.

ఆ సంకేతలిపి పద్ధతుల మద్య వైరుధ్యాలు కూడా ఉండేవి. అంటే, వేర్వేరు పద్ధతులు ఒకే సంకేతసంఖ్యని వేర్వేరు అక్షరాలకు, లేదా వేర్వేరు సంకేతసంఖ్యల్ని ఒకే అక్షరానికి ఉపయోగించేవి. కంప్యూటర్లు (ముఖ్యంగా సర్వర్లు) చాలా రకాలైన సంకేతలిపి పద్ధతులకు అనువుగా ఉండవలసి వచ్చేది; అయినా సరే, వివిధ సంకేతలిపి పద్ధతుల లేదా ప్లాట్‌ఫారాల మధ్య డేటా ప్రయాణించినప్పుడు, ఆ డేటా చెడిపోయే ప్రమాదం ఎప్పుడూ పొంచి ఉండేది.

ప్రతీ అక్షరానికీ ఓ ప్రత్యేక సంఖ్యని యూనీకోడ్ అందిస్తుంది.., ప్లాట్‌ఫారము ఏదైనా, ప్రోగ్రాము ఏదైనా, భాష ఏదైనా సరే. వ్యాపార దిగ్గజాలైన యాపిల్, HP, IBM, జస్ట్‌సిస్టమ్, మైక్రోసాఫ్ట్, ఒరాకిల్, SAP, సన్, సైబేస్, యూనిసిస్, ఇంకా అనేక కంపెనీలు ఈ యూనీకోడ్ ప్రమాణాన్ని స్వీకరించాయి. ఆధునిక ప్రమాణాలైన XML, జావా, ECMAస్క్రిప్ట్ (జావాస్క్రిప్ట్), LDAP, కోర్బా 3.0, WML లాంటివాటికి యూనీకోడ్ అవసరం. అంతేగాక, ISO/IEC 10646 ని అమలుపరచే అధికారిక పద్ధతిది. చాలా ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టములూ, అన్ని ఆధునిక బ్రౌజర్లూ ఇంకా అనేక సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్ ఉత్పత్తులు ఇప్పుడు యూనీకోడ్ను సపోర్టు చేస్తున్నాయి. ఇటీవలి కాలంలో చోటుచేసుకున్న అత్యంత ప్రముఖ సాఫ్ట్వేరు టెక్నాలజీ ధోరణులలో యూనీకోడ్ ప్రమాణ అవతరణా దానిని అందించే ఉపకరణాల లభ్యత ఉన్నాయి.

Day before yesterday, I contacted Unicode.org using their online
contact form for the inclusion of Telugu Translation of "What is
Unicode?" page.

They acted promplty, and put the Telugu page live on their website
[http://www.unicode.org/standard/translations/telugu.html], and told
me so.

However, all this happened before I got the reply from Chaduvari. And,
the changes made by him are really good. I'll first make changes and
then tell them that the new version is better.
