This HTC Vive Trailer Perfectly Expresses How Amazing Virtual Reality Is

No one until now has so perfectly visualized what it is like to experience virtual reality or the HTC Vive for someone who has never tried VR. Valve released a new YouTube video titled Virtual Reality - SteamVR featuring the HTC Vive and it completely nails what it feels like to play games in VR.

Many of the experiences and games featured in the beginning of this demonstration come free with the HTC Vive, like The Lab which is one of the best all-around VR games out there. Other great titles shown (that I've also played) include Hover Junkers, theBlue: Encounter, Everest VR, Tilt Brush, Fantastic Contraption, Budget Cuts, Elite Dangerous and more. HTC Vive is unique from the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR because it is the only device the allows for room-scale and it ships with incredibly accurate motion controllers. This means you can actually physically move around in virtual space with your own two legs. That added sense of real dimension makes all the difference when it comes to immersion.

The HTC Vive has been the most intense and emotional tech experiences I've had so far. I will have my full review of the new VR headset very soon. So far this trailer is the best visual way to express what VR feels to date, but you still have to try the HTC Vive yourself to understand how enthralling it can be.
