The Heart and Sole Foundation
Donation protected
A student-run nonprofit organization striving to create awareness around sudden cardiac arrest in young athletes as well as provide free EKG screenings for student athletes which is key in preventing these events. 23,000 young athletes experience sudden cardiac arrest each year and a simple EKG screening can detect a heart abnormality before it's too late. In addition, all proceeds will go to the purchase of lifesaving AED's for communities in need. Having an AED on hand can boost survival rates of cardiac arrest by 60%, yet there are still over 30 million needed in the U.S.. By promoting education, early detection, and access to critical life saving equipment, we aim to protect the future of young athletes and their families.
