The Georgia Tech chapter of Kappa Sigma offers a variety of scholarships to incoming freshmen. This application is designed for you to provide the most comprehensive look at your academic, leadership, and philanthropic accomplishments thus far. We trust those we award these scholarships to will use the money to further advance their education and capacity for good in their community. The following scholarships will be awarded to incoming summer and fall freshmen in 2017:

The Stephen Alonzo Jackson Scholarship ($250) - One freshman man will be awarded this scholarship, offered by the chapter in honor of one of Kappa Sigma's most influential men. These men will have shown the chapter that they carry in them a desire for continuous self-improvement and an infectious concern for their fellow man.

The William A. Alexander Scholarship ($400) - One freshman man will be awarded this scholarship, offered by our chapter in honor of one of Georgia Tech's most influential Kappa Sigmas. Coach William A. Alexander played quarterback for the school before eventually becoming the head coach of the then 'Georgia Tech Golden Tornadoes'. He would becoming the first head coach to win all four major bowl games, and led Georgia Tech to its 1928 National Championship. This scholarship will go to man who has demonstrated leadership both on and off the field, and who has made a long-lasting impact in his community or his chosen field. An interview will be required for this scholarship

The Founder's Circle Scholarship ($750) - Our most prestigious scholarship is funded by our alumni and is given to the most well-rounded applicant, having shown not only exemplary leadership ability and unique involvement, but also fundamentally understands the importance of Greek life to Tech's campus and livelihood. Often our alumni will vet the recipient of this scholarship and invite them to a dinner or other networking opportunities.
