GRSF Storytelling Workshop
Storytelling is and was a method of passing stories from generation to generation.  It was a method used in the Renaissance period to tell the fairy tales that we know and love.  Today, the storytelling technique is commonly seen at high school forensic competitions. The Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) also, uses the technique during play narrations.

On Friday, June 9th, GRSF and the Winona Public Library will hold a Storytelling Showcase.  To prep for the showcase, GRSF members will hold a workshop at the library teaching attendees different warm-up and speaking techniques.  The workshop is Tuesday, May 30th from 6-7PM in the Library’s Bell Art Room.

Workshop attendees that signup to perform in the Storytelling Showcase will receive a voucher for GRSF’s performance of Shipwrecked during the evening of the showcase.

Registration is required for the workshop at the library.
