MONROE, La. (WJTV) — The man accused in the burning death of Jessica Chambers is now being charged with the murder of a Louisiana foreign exchange student.

According to KNOE in Monroe, Louisiana, papers were filed by Monroe Police charging Quinton Tellis with first-degree murder in the 2015 death Meing-Chen Hsiao. The victim was a foreign exchange student who attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

In May, Tellis pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of a credit card that belonged to the deceased ULM student.

Jessica, the 19-year-old Panola County teen, was burned alive in December 2014. Tellis is expected to make his first court appearance in that case on July 15 in Hernando.
