Casey Gittelman, Anderson, junior, gymnastics: Reached the podium at the state meet, placing sixth in the uneven bars - the best finish of any local gymnast at the meet in Hilliard on March 5.

Mallory Schwartz, Ryle, senior, girls’ basketball: The Ninth Region co-player of the year scored 14 points, 8 in the last quarter, to help the Raiders defeat Highlands in the semifinal.
