It would have been great if the victim were to excuse himself, call the police into the room then and there, and cite him for criminal mischief and disorderly behavior and insist on pressing charges. Witnesses abound, slam dunk. The result: humilitation, citation, summons, criminal court case, a fine, and a record (the sweet part). It would teach that baboon a lesson and flag him for criminal/violent/disorderly behavior going forward. "on your permanent record", Professor Fartknocker!
