i've not been here, how sad! i've been unable to upload art because of my lack of a scanner, in case you didn't already know, but i have been drawing, hooray! i return to australia in about 3 months so i doubt that'll be too much of a hassle to anyone, really.

also my subscription has run out, which is okay, because between you and me i'm planning on leaving da when i release my proper web site which WILL be updated a lot (i'm more organised now, thank the lord). thanks again so much to for buying me that out of his own pocket, the gesture was so kind. you are lovely.

one of the things i'm going to upload in due time is a portrait of a shark that i am going to draw to confront my phobia of them; that is of course when i can look at the photo i've chosen without getting the jitters and breaking out into a sweat! mind you, i've chosen the photo precisely for that reason. wish me luck!

so how have things been these past six months? well, put simply i feel like my life has changed completely. i can't remember ever being in a better place, and no, i'm not talking about the location, because tokyo is the arsehole of japan.

i climbed fuji, for one thing. just got back yesterday!

oh, and if you're that desperate to see what i've been up to japanwise i have an online travel journal with a weekly engrish segment (and i'm also working on a love hotel guide. oo-er.).

seriously though, i can't describe it. everything's just settling into place so nicely. there have been so many drastic changes in my life, physically and mentally, and that should be frightening, but for the first time in however many years i actually feel stable.
