★★★★★! The Baby Series Lite, book 2 of 3.5. The continuation of Trey & Ty’s epic family saga filled with danger, suspense, villains, lust and their growing all-consuming love.

“I personally guarantee you that you will carry all of the children that I can possibly give you. You were born to be a mother amongst other things.”

Baby Series Lite is a newly edited and revised Anniversary edition of last summer’s Baby Series. The author listened to reviewers’ feedback as well as readers who were holding back on reading due to its length. In Baby Series Lite you will have the edited down version of same story, plus bonus chapters and bonus epilogues.

Baby Series Lite (book 1-3) is the epic family saga about Trey and Tylar and their extended and growing family. Baby Come Back Lite (book 3.5) is the continued story about Tristan, Trey’s brother and Gina, Ty’s best friend but also includes the Sinclair’s. Since there is a mystery to be solved it’s critical that these books be read in order, and as a set:
Maybe Baby Lite (book 1)
Baby Love Lite (book 2)
Be My Baby Lite (book 3)
Baby Come Back Lite (book 3.5)
Baby Series Lite - Omnibus to be released in late September

We first met Trey and Tylar in Maybe Baby (book 1). Much has happened since they first met. Baby Love (book 2) picks up shortly after book 1. It centers on the mystery behind Ty’s past. There will be much happening throughout; some dramatic and frightening events and other simply wonderful news and developments. The bonus chapter, new to the Lite version, will shed some additional light on a dark aspect of Ty’s past. And of course there is always some new drama with the Sinclair’s.

“What's 'TTYL'?" Trey asked coming up to me.
"Talk to you later," I said.
"Well excuse me; what the fuck did I do to piss you off?"
"No Trey," I started laughing. My alcohol consumption was giving me a very nice buzz. "TTYL are the first letter initials for the phrase: Talk To You Later.”

 photo SmithBabySeriesLite1-3HerobySueBee_zps7e7f5192.jpg

Trey Michael Sinclair is one of my all-time favorite alphas; he is handsome and sexy, rich and successful and as the story progresses his layers are peeled showing many dimensions. Four words to describe Trey: Captivating, possessive, authoritarian and unforgettable.

 photo SmithBabySeriesLite1-3HeroinebySueBee_zps135075ee.jpg

Tylar Preston, Ty really developed and grew (up) in this book. Four words to describe Ty: Resourceful, sweet, spunky and smart.

In closing I’d like to comment on the precious Preston…

“You heard her baby - she thinks needs a brother or sister. Besides, it's been like four days.”

Excellent story telling! Memorable characters! An engaging, humorous and very sexy read! Thanks Ms. Smith.

BABY LOVE

These are the HARDEST books to review, I swear! There is so much going on, so much to talk about. I can see why the initial books were so long...busy, busy, busy. If I were reviewing this professionally, I might be harder on it, but I am reviewing it simply on my enjoyment. And I REALLY enjoyed this book!

Okay...if you haven't read the first book, there might be minor spoilers for it (if you don't get the gist of the series...ahem...baby.)

In this installment, Tylar and Trey are new parents. The entire tone of this book changes, which is exactly what I was hoping would happen. Tylar is a wonderful mother, despite having some issues. No matter what happens, her devotion to Preston never lets up, and it shines through the pages. Andrea Smith truly grasps motherhood...the ups and downs, and the joy and sorrow. It's not always pretty...in fact, often it's ugly. There is such overwhelming love for your kids that it often feels...overwhelming! Feelings of inadequacy pop up often, especially if something goes wrong. And then there's being a wife/woman alongside motherhood. Two of the hardest things I've ever done are being married and having kids...and Tylar is dealing with them all at a young age. She loves her Trey, she loves her baby, but that doesn't negate the problems that arise. Especially with her past still up in the air.

"Tylar, you've a right to feel however you feel. Feelings are not right or wrong - are what they are."

My Trey and Tylar:

While Tylar and Trey are going through the trials and tribulations of new parents, they are also having to deal with Tylar's past...her "mom" and the events that led up to the horrible events she calls her childhood. This adds a WTF factor as well as some crazy drama and suspense. And it also adds a sort of melancholy note, because Tylar has always been missing that kind of love from a parent to a child in her life...in fact, is feeling it for the first time in her life now, with Preston.

"I'd never felt this kind of love before. It was a different kind of love than what I had for Trey. It'd been so immediate and so strong from the beginning. It was so unconditional, this baby love.
I thought about my mother and wondered why she'd never felt that 'baby love' for me. I banished the thought of her from my mind. It was only painful and for now I wanted to enjoy this bonding with my daughter."

Just for the record, I think Trey and Tylar are wonderful parents...really great about meshing their ideals and differences together and creating a loving home for their daughter. I thought that the amount of babysitting they got was enviable, but still... :D:D

Why the four stars? Despite my enjoyment of the story, I had a few things that really bothered me. I was somewhat grossed out by Trey referring to Tylar's tendency to swallow his...you know...by asking her if she was "ready for some protein". Ew, just ew. I've never seen the fascination with swallowing, so maybe this could be titillating for some ladies, but for me it was just gross. Also, I also think the writing is somewhat unrefined in places...repetitive (sex scenes...SO repetitive) and a few minor editing issues.

So this story really captivated me. I was almost completely uninterested in the sex scenes. They didn't do it for me to begin with, but I really noticed it more in this book...I really just wanted to get back to the meat of the story. It just keeps moving forward. And for Smith to make a normal marriage this interesting is really saying something. Despite the somewhat fantastical circumstances outside of the marriage, just Tylar and Trey's daily grind was captivating! Funny in places, poignant in others, I loved this book...a smidge more than the first.

4 Baby Love Stars!!!
“description"/

A lot of your questions from book one will be answered... but you will have some new ones at the end of this!

Tylar and Trey are new parents to baby Preston. They are both taking very well to parenthood. They are doing well as a couple. Everything is great. Tylar loves Trey with all her heart, but she has never felt a love like this before. The love only a mother can have for her daughter.
I'd never felt this kind of love before. It was a different kind of love than what I had for Trey. It'd been so immediate and so strong from the beginning. It was so unconditional, this baby love.

“description"/

Tylar finds herself wondering why her mother never had this kind of love for her. This bond she has with Preston. We find out some shocking things about Tylar’s past. Everything sort of comes together and starts to make sense. A new and very special person comes into Tylar’s life.

“description"/

A lot of crazy things happen, there is kidnapping, murder, mystery and suspense. It is full of drama and a little craziness, but in the end I was so happy Tylar finally got the answers she needed and the closure she deserved.

I loved the family element in this book. A good part was focused on Tylar, Trey and Preston. I enjoyed reading about the two of them with the baby. It was all very sweet. There was also a lot of steam. Trey Sinclair is one sexy man! It’s not super heavy on the sex scenes, but there is enough to keep you satisfied.
"I want to make love to you, baby."
"What if I want to fuck?"
"I'm fairly certain that we can accommodate both, Mrs. Sinclair"

There is so much going on in the story, twists, turns etc, it is hard to review this book without spoiling so even though I know I am leaving a ton out, I’m gonna end it here and just say-
There is never a dull moment in this book. Once you finish this book, you will want to jump right into the next. A suspenseful, sweet, and sexy series you won’t want to put down!

4.5 'I want Trey to be my baby daddy' Stars

Sometimes the most precious things in life are the result of just letting life happen.

Well, after staying up till 3am finishing reading this and that ENDING, I feel like I should let everyone know!

This series is seriously ADDICTING!

Please be prepared to read these books back to back.

Have coffee near you at all times, as you will be losing sleep reading this.

You will NOT be able to put it down until you read the very last page.

Seriously! I'm not kidding here people! After I was done with this book, I had to immediately read the 3rd one. Now here I am, over-caffeinated and twitching away attempting to write this review. So I apologize in advance if I ramble off...

How good was this book? Well let's just say it was good enough for me to look past all the things that initially bothered me in the first book. And that's something! I'm one picky bitch, I'll be the first to admit it. And things like the overuse of womanhood or manhood typically bother the hell out of me. But I was so enthralled in the story, that I truthfully can't even tell you right now that I could find it in me to care about these things.

Baby Love takes place where Maybe Baby left off. Tylar and Trey are enjoying the joys of parenthood, while the twisted story of Tylar's past continues to be unraveling.

And holy crap, it did! Baby Love was a rollercoaster filled with action, suspense, many more secrets coming to light, and of course more Trey.

I love a good romance, and I love a romance filled with super steamy scenes. But what I loved most about this book was the story. It was FANTASTIC! There was so much going on, with twists and turns that sucked me in from the first page.

I have to admit, that while I love Trey, Tristan definitely gives him a run for his money, and he was just a supporting character. We got more of Tristan, and more of Gina, and Tristan and Gina.

It did take me a bit to get into things with the first book, but I had no such issues with this one. I'm totally and completely addicted.

The twists and turns that took place and things that were revealed in this book?

And then there was that ending. GAH! That friggin ending! Here I thought I was being all clever, staying up to finish it. Let me just warn you, if you're finishing this up before going to bed...well prepare the coffee, my friends, because you will not be going to sleep any time soon. You will NEED, HAVE TO HAVE the 3rd book.

Now that is all the over-caffeinated ramblings you'll be getting from this girl. Go read this book! Do it! Just make sure you have book 3 waiting for you when you're done with it.

I'm off to drool over Tristan in book 3.5. So I thank you!

It was so unconditional, this baby love.

In this second book, the journey of Trey and Tylar continues, but it isn't an easy one. Past mysteries, heartbreaks, family, friends and the everyday stress of life are piling up, causing tears, pain and lots of love. Together, they struggle and fight but is there a breaking point? A limit to what a person can handle?

description

The mystery of Tylar's family is finally unravelling and is full of angst and twists. Add to that the "baby blues" and the fragility that comes with being a new mother, Tylar and Trey go through some rough times. This story is also sexy and hot but I really felt it took the back seat in this one, for emotions, family bonds and character depth to shine.

Laughing and crying, suspense and mystery, heartbreak and hope, another wild ride of book...

You know I was born with two G-Spots right?

Andrea Smith, proves once again that she can write. Better edited and shorter than the first she provides us with a satisfying story that isn't dragging but it just relaxes you for some parts....

But then I got to the end...

I loooved this boook !!!!! Can I say that again .... I love love the hell outta this book . It exceeded my expectations, Tyler was puuurfect. You can tell being a mother has really changed her ,and its definitely for the better . She was a lion ,I only kinda wished she got to kick her aunt's ass . But the story got so many twist and turns . Andrea made me feel so sorry for the bad guys, I really couldn't fathom how I from despising her Aunt to actually feeling so emotionally sad for her .Cudos to you Andrea ,I really love this one (YES I know I said that like 2 times already ,Sue me I'm in love).

The relationship between the MCs were so on point ,they had their good days and their bad days.Which is what love is really all about ,they always and I mean always make up after their argument ,they don't let it fester unless it's really bad. Gina did a shitty move and my feelings for her have kinda taken a down turn . I felt she was a better person than that and I really couldn't blame Trey for being upset with Tyler .It's his brother and Gina is her best friend but I really couldn't live with the guilt of Tristan not knowing the truth. And regardless he is her family by marriage so I think she should have at least told Trey so they could have worked out a solution to help . But Gina girl ,you completely ,utterly messed up .

I must say this Arc was left on a little cliffhanger with an awesome bonus chapter which shows the psychotics of Tyler's family. It's absolutely sickening and the resolution was just IMO but I would the mother of Matthew to get hers soon.

Really this story was exactly what I needed .I thank the author for giving this ARC . You did a great job Andrea :)
I really really can't wait on 3 and 3.5 .Please Hurry !!!!

The life journey of Trey and Tylar continues..... This book was really good.... But some things were a bit annoying. First, the continued editing issues from book one. Run on sentences, lack of punctuation...blah blah. But my biggest issue was the constant reference to breast feeding. I mean, I'm a neonatal nurse who personally nursed my own kids but lord, it was constant in this book. If it irritated me, I'm surprised it didn't bother the bejeebers out of people who haven't had kids or don't have that career background. I seriously think there was more breast action detailed in this book from the baby than from Trey. It didn't add anything to their story...I was just put off by the constant reference to "num nums."
Trey.....he is still a gem. Still a bit controlling but such an attentive, supportive husband and father. Tylar grew up a lot in this book and I loved the way she evolved into such a great wife and mom. There was several twists and turns in the book but the day to day family story was still a strong base. I was happy for Tylar getting some answers to her past and meeting her father for the first time.
On to the final installment.....

★★★★★! The Baby series, book 2 of 3. Epic family saga with a wonderful Heroine & a larger-than-life, yet “tangible” alpha male Hero.

This is a recently released trilogy by Andrea Smith. A stand-alone sequel (book 4), told from a side character’s - Gina’s - POV is in the works, but you can read book 1-3 as there is no cliffhanger at the end of book 3. I highly recommend this series!

It’s an epic family saga about Trey and Tylar and their extended and growing family. Andrea Smith is a spellbinding storyteller. I am not sure how to fairly describe her brilliance other than that her writing really clicks with me; It’s engaging and humorous and her choice of vocabulary is very stimulating. Her character development is excellent – both Trey and Ty are wonderful and their chemistry is hot, hot, hot. And there are many, many amazing side characters as well. Ms. Smith as definitely a new author to follow.

Since there is a mystery to be solved it’s critical that you read these books in order. Though I have kept my review below “general” it may contain some spoilers. If you haven’t read book 1, please stop here go back and start with book 1. As matter of fact, drop everything and hurry up and read this series!

BOOK 2

Hero: Trey Michael Sinclair: 31+ years old/attorney/$$$/brown hair/blue eyes
Heroine: Tylar “Ty” Sinclair, formerly Preston: 21+ years old/mother (former student)/brown hair/amber eyes

The book is told from Tylar’s POV.

I really enjoyed this series with the less common approach of the couple coming together and the readers getting to follow them in their relationship. So we first met Trey and Tylar in Maybe Baby. They are just about to get married and they have a beautiful one-month old daughter Preston Michaela Sinclair (DoB 5/4/2012). The story goes from there.

Book 2 is mostly about the mystery surrounding Ty’s past. There will be much happening; some dramatic and frightening events and other simply wonderful news and developments. And of course there is always some new drama with the Sinclair’s.

I think Ty really developed and grew (up) in this book. She is a mother and a wife now. Trey also grew. He is still the very much in control, hot sexy, successful alpha male. But with him becoming a father and a husband, we get to see another dimension to him – more tangible – like he becomes even more real. In closing let me say this about our precious Preston aka “Bobbin” aka “Chubbers” aka “Vampira”. She is just the sweetest, most adorable, lovable baby girl. Thanks to Ms. Smith’s writing, Preston felt so real – there were many occasions where I wanted to reach my hand through my Kindle to touch her. What a blessing!

"I personally guarantee you that you will carry all of the children that I can possibly give you. You were born to be a mother amongst other things."

"You know Tylar, you are never sexier in my eyes than when I watch you nurse our baby. I can't explain it but it is definitely a turn-on."

"You heard her baby - she thinks Preston needs a brother or sister. Besides, it's been like four days."

Review to come. I am off to read the next book,Be My Baby. I just can't wait. So I will write my review when I finish with book 3.

Okay so I finished this book a couple of days ago, I had to take a few days to figure out what I wanted to say. So where do I begin to say I love this series isn't enough I am IN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with this series. I have completely and totally connected with Trey and Tyler oh and I can't leave out Gina and Tristan I love them as well. I was in love with the characters in the story from the get go in Maybe Baby but now I am just completely and totally hooked on them! Trey and Tyler story continues to unfold in Baby Love there are so many twists and turns in this ongoing saga that it keeps you on the edge of your seat and keep you guessing.

In Baby Love you get to experience the love and passion between Trey and Tyler and you get to continue the journey of Tyler finding out more of where she came from and who she is. You're not going to want to miss out on this eventful trip down life's road with Trey and Tyler this is another must read!

4.5 - 5 CRAZY INTENSE STARS

Tylar and Trey now have a beautiful little girl and are newly married when strange occurrences start to happen and Tylar begins having disturbing nightmares. First Trey just believes she needs to start her life up again. Get back into the workforce. But when the housekeeper gets hit by a car, and Susan, Trey's mother has to leave to care for his sick father, things take a terrible turn. Maggie, Tylar's mother kidnaps baby Preston and takes them on a desperate search for answers.

These answers spark more questions. Who is Tylar's father and what is her family background. Tylar discovers her family secrets, her real father and more a more disturbing history than she could have ever imagined.

I was so mad a Trey for discounting her instincts when she kept feeling that something wasn't right. I loved out Andrea brought Tylar's high school prom date back into the picture for the purposes of helping them find their child.

I loved how her search for her child ended up bringing her to father and finally having a parent who loved her.

It was so moving and lovely. The series is epic in tone.

Wow!!!! LOVED IT! 5 drama filled stars!!

I read the first book in this series over a year ago and loved it.. not sure why I waited so long to continue with the series but I hate I waited so long. That being said.. I'm scared as hell for the 3rd book but I'll be diving in right away. There was so much drama going on in Baby Love..there was also a whole lot of love and of course a sweet little baby. Andrea has such a talent for building so many layers in a story but keeping each layer intense and interesting. This book was filled with all kinds of drama, angst, hotness, love.. sweetness.. so much of everything. Above all was Tyler and Trey's love and commitment to each other. It's been mildly tested along the way but they have been strong and persevered together. I know book 3 is going to rip me apart.. I've read the reviews and I know I'm in store for quite a ride. Am I prepared? Hell no... but I'm going to get on that ride anyway because I know it will be a treat. At this point, I feel so wrapped up in Trey and Tyler that I have absolutely not choice at all but to continue their story and see what Andrea has in store for them.....

I started this book as soon as I finished the first one. I was afraid that I would be disappointed with the second one because I loved the first one SO much; Ms. Smith obviously had other plans. This book was just as good as the first one. I loved, loved L-O-V-E-D this book. Trey and Taylor are fascinating together; they have so much love but every time you think it's gonna work out something else happens.
I was thrilled to see how "real" of a couple Trey and Taylor were. Taylor showed real signs of what some real women deal with after having a baby. Ms. Smith made ALL these characters relatable and believable.
Can't wait to read the third installment!!!!!!!

It can't end like that!! There's still a lot of questions swirling around in my brain.

Second part in Trey and Tylar's lives and it certainly didn't lack in drama and revelations.

Obviously I need to get some answers for both of us

There was a lot of ups and downs but through it all I loved how they communicated as a couple (well, most of the time!)

Tylar, can we get a smaller ham next year?

Gina, what were you thinking? I loved her in the first book but I think in this book she caused a lot of problems for everyone.

I'm now worried how their relationship will move on from here.

Love this series. The series just gets better and better. Even though these books are long, it doesn’t feel like it, the book is full of great characters and a story line that keeps you interested. I really enjoyed seeing Tylar and Trey’s relationship grow and see how they handle the obstacles that come up. I have to say the last chapter freaked me out and the bonus chapter-left me speechless. Starting Book 3 now, way to keep me on the edge of my seat Andrea Smith!

Wow! This one was filled with a lot. If it wasn't for my domestic requirements to feed my kids I would have never stopped reading today! On to book 3!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

Holy crap Batman. This book had a ton of stuff happen. My stomach was a mess. I even messaged Andrea begging for a spoiler cuz I couldn't take the drama....i needed to know what would happen!! LOL

So this book starts our with Tylar dealing with PPD after Preston is born. how ever maybe she is having premonitions???? She starts fearing for her babies life and guess what? she had every reason too. Her "wonderful" mother kidnapped Preston. The beginning of the book is Trey and Tylar trying to find Preston. Man. oh., man do the secrets come flying outta the closets. You find out that mommy isnt really mommy and you find out who Tylar's daddy is!!! Yes friend you find out alot in this novel. Mommy tells alot of stories and Tylar is a mess to say the least. However Trey is awesome in this book. He is so supportive of Tylar.

Well Tristan meets a awful woman who Gina puts in her place very very very quickly which leads to some fireworks and love for Gina and ......TRISTAN!!!! The 2 of them are a riot...fighting of sexing...that sums them up. They do have a bit of drama and the ending chapter made my heart ache. There is a lot of drama and you wonder who that will carry over to book 3.

Tylar and Trey decided to try for another sibling BUT Nigel and Tess (ya know Trey;s old ex fiance) ask Trey and Tristan to do something very unconventional to help him and Tess achieve a dream.....I dont know that I would have done anything different that Tylar did...snicker....

Anyway, this series is AWESOME!!!!! i am diving into book 3 now!!

Oh lord what a cliff hanger this one ends on, i was not expecting that!!!! After book one I was thinking there seriously can't be any more that Andrea Smith can add to Tyler's past, but every piece that does crop up is just absolutely gripping! I really really enjoyed this 2nd book, had me laughing with some of the humour and dialogues. The characters are growing and all grip your interest, wanting the reader to found out more & more about them. In some ways this felt like a continuous & enjoyable epilogue of Tyler, Tray and the adorable Preston, with all the drama & mystery being played out by invoking all the other characters too!
Andrea, please don't keep me waiting for closure, the suspense is unbearable!!

4 Stars !!!

I really liked it.
The story of Tyler and Trey continues in this book. They are parents now and soon to be married. We see them struggling with their 'new reality' but facing the problems together.
The book is full with drama, mystery, action, romance and lots of steamy moments.
Trey is still amazing, hot and overprotective alpha male. I looveee him!!!
Can't wait to start book 3. I hope it won't disappoint me.

OMFG!! What an ending or not.. but I can't wait for book 3. I liked this book but not as much as the first one. I missed the dominating ways of Trey and I almost quit reading it when Tylar hit P, but I am glad I continued. I have read plenty of books with cliffhanger endings, but this one, wow!

This book was really good. It started out kind of slow and I almost put it down. Tylar seemed really whiny in this book and it was annoying, but after a few chapters it got better and I couldn't put it down. The ending is killing me - can't wait to start the next one!

Baby Love Lite by Andrea Smith

4 stars!!

“I’d never felt this kind of love before. It was a different kind of love than what I had for Trey. It’d been so immediate and so strong from the beginning. It was so unconditional, this baby love.”

This is the continuation of the love story that is Trey and Tylar. Now the proud parents of baby Preston their lives have changed and will never be the same again. Preston has made such an impression on them and their lives, their relationship is still on the up and the love between them is seriously infectious.

Now that Tylar is a parent herself and she has experienced the overwhelming love you have for a child she cannot help but wonder what went wrong with her own life and her own mother. She had never had that relationship with her mother.

“I thought about my mother and wondered why she’d never felt that “baby love” for me.”

They also have to deal with the changes within their relationship now that Preston is here, Tylar sometimes fears she is failing as any new mother does but Trey is always there to lift her spirits and keep her on the straight and narrow.

“Sweetie, you’ve not neglected me at all, okay? I’m so proud of what a great mother you are to our baby; you’re going to be a fantastic wife and lover to me as well. This is all new to you, sweetie…I feel like I’ve expected too much from you. I’m sorry, really sorry. I’ve been selfish, I know.”

After digging deeper into her history Tylar discovers some really disturbing things about her past and her situation suddenly becomes a lot more clearer. Things that have happened in the past suddenly have a lot more clarity and whilst it still does not excuse what happened at least she gets a sense of understanding, the benefit of this is that this brings somebody new into Tylars life. I for one was so glad that she got the opportunity.

This book is one amazing roller coaster ride, as usual intertwined with the love and smexy times that we love and associate with Andrea Smith, we have kidnappings, murders, angst, suspense, twists and turns, ups and downs, round and rounds, it was a lot to take in but it kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat at ALL times! This was one seriously mad crazy train! I would go into detail but I don’t want to spoil it for you so am keeping my lips zipped, but you will just have to read for yourselves, you will not be disappointed.

In this book I loved that we got closer to other characters, in particular Tristan and Gina. I can’t wait to read more about them going forward. I have absolutely loved the Sinclair family, as you are reading you feel like one of them and can’t help but be drawn into their little family unit.

I can’t leave out my man, actually “the man” Trey Sinclair, have I said I absolutely adore this man…he is LUSH!! I love their relationship so much, you can’t help but feel the love oozing off the page.

“I want to make love to you, baby,” he whispered against my lips. “What if I want to f**k?” I teased. “I’m fairly certain that we can accommodate both, Mrs Sinclair.”

Can’t wait for the next one, totally in love with this series. Fab job Andrea Smith!!
