Twisted Pins is pleased to announce that we have released a Whitewater foil topper that is approved and available under the PPS license.

As you may know this topper has never been reproduced by anybody. Our topper decal is made the exact same way Williams made it. The topper is printed using a 4-color process over white and embossed artwork using .010 foil stock. These are not paper thin decals or printed by an inkjet printer or next generation technology.

There is a 30 day pre-sale starting on Wednesday 5/15 at 8:00am MST and ending on 6/14. Our website address is www.twistedpins.com. We will be offering this in two versions. The first version is the decal attached to the white topper. The second version is the decal w/ topper and also the clear tub that sits over the topper. The decal is not available without the topper.

Pricing for the pre-sale will be as follows:

Decal+Topper Support $179
Decal+Topper+Clear Tub $219

If you are interested in the decal w/topper (no clear tub) and will be coming to PAGG we can bring for pick up to save the shipping costs if purchased by 5/17 9:00AM MST. Please contact us through PM here or through the website for more information on how to purchase for pick up at PAGG.

The clouds part. The angels sing!

My topper is in pretty good condition, but I know this will come as sensational news to a lot of WH20 owners.

Congratulations on pulling this off!

Yes! I'm in!

Thanks! This project was in the works for 4 months and was not easy or cheap. We had to have the die made by a company in Germany. Then we had to find a company that could do the micro-embossing with a die that large here in the states.

I have told so many people over the last year to sell the originals whilst they can. Congrats on finally getting this to market!

#9 10 years ago

Is this going to be a limited run or something that will be available from now on?

Thanks! It wasn't easy to pull off.

I'm going to have to give mine a long hard look to see if it might be worth replacing. It's tempting...

#18 10 years ago

Nice job! Wally

Too funny, an original was just listed on ebay.

I knew why. I just wanted to see if you'd say it. Wouldn't that suck for the poor sap who bought one for $800, and the sellers you encouraged to sell didn't disclose new ones were coming out soon for a lot less?

We figured that was going to happen once people found out new ones are finally available.

Great news, another unobtainable part has been reproduced. Seems like more and more of these things are coming up. The CFTBL holograms, Shadow Plastics, and the different playfields being made show that many of the older games are still getting some love.

#23 10 years ago

Count me in for one. Nice work!

#24 10 years ago

Can't wait to sign up for one.

#25 10 years ago

Good news. Love to see these repro parts come out!

Here is a picture of the die that was made to micro-emboss the foil.

Put me down for one.. It'll be great to see it with no bubbles. Thanks, Joe in NJ

I finally will get my topper! In!

This topper decal looks great. makes me want to have a white water built from scratch even more now.

Saw some amazing repo playfields for sale in Allentown as well as brand new ramp sets and boulder sets. Add this new topper and have someone build me a new cab with white water decals on it, add some boards, wiring, new dmd,new Bigfoot and motor, a few flippers, translight, plastic set and almost have a brand new white water.

I'm thinking new cab plus parts would only be like 5k ish. Not bad for a brand new clear coated white water. Collector quality ones I've seen go 6-7k+

Was very close to buying the Playfield set at the show but decided not to as it would most likely just collect dust in my closet while that money could help fund a new game instead.

If you are going to PAGG you will be able to see this displayed in the game.

#34 10 years ago

Oh man sucks for everyone who paid 500 for one of these.

Great work!

Great news, I was happy with my repo without the foil due to the price originals sent for, but this is much more in line of what I can justify. New Color DMD just went in my game a few days ago, now I'll be getting one of these, I can hear my checkbook already.

We are flying to the show and will not personally have a machine there. Although we have talked with another Pinsider already who will have his WH2O there and I believe will install his new topper that he is purchasing from us.

We tried to keep the price reasonable so everybody could put one in there machine.

I think this is a very fair price and it's a part that's been needed for WAY too long.

Nicely done!!

#44 10 years ago

Glad this finally got done. Even though it means my NOS uninstalled decal just took a 50%+ hit in value. I thought many times about selling it, but never could bring myself to do it, nor could I bring myself to install it on my current copy of the game. Guess I'll just keep it for posterity. I might even buy a repro to replace the one on my game (decent but faded and a little crinkled).

#45 10 years ago

Is there a video yet?

#46 10 years ago

Kudos on getting a tough part to reproduce finally to market! I'm in... and thanks for the effort!

It's still a gamble to sell rare parts prior to production. No guarantee the process would be successful.

My original decal is pretty good, but I'll pick up a new one since WH20 is a long term keeper for us.

Bump for OP.

My Whitewater isn't nice enough to justify replacing my pretty good original, but it's great to see that so many people who need one of these will finally be able to get one
