I had a very terrible experience tonight at Green's. The bouncer virtually assaulted me and called me names because I took a drag of my vape within 10 feet of the establishment. I believe this was driven by the fact that I am a trans woman. This bouncer was incredibly hateful and should not be employed in this city. Shame on you Green's for employing this monster.

I was verbally and physically assaulted by the bouncer on Saturday 7/22. I had been there as a customer for over an hour. The bouncer had already checked my ID when I originally got there.
We were sitting outside and when I walked in to use the restroom, the bouncer was berating a group sitting at a table. He was very aggressive and obviously intoxicated. I walked behind him while he was screaming at these poor young gentleman. As I walked past him, he turned around and grabbed my elbow. He took hold of my arm with such force that it hurt and so that he could pull me into his face so he could scream at me that I was kicked out of the bar. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs so to move me by my arm takes a lot of force.
He wouldn't let go of me and tried to physically push me towards the door by putting his hand on my back for more leverage. I stood my ground and very firmly told him to take his hands off of me. He proceeded to yell in my face and try to physically remove me. I had to tell him two more times to take his hands off of me before he finally did.
It was very painful and left an immediate bruise on my arm. I felt abused and attacked. I was not overly intoxicated and did not approach the bouncer myself. This man needs to be fired...and maybe the bartender as well for turning a blind eye.
While all of this was very public and in the middle of the bar, the bartender crouched behind the bar as to hide. He did nothing to stop the bouncer from verbally attacking people...or interfere while he was physically assaulting me.
I have had nothing but good memories at Greens for all of my years in the city but I will NEVER go there again.
The bouncer was belligerent, intoxicated and violent. The bartender was a coward. I guess they think it's ok to attack customers and grab women.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Sydney B.Seattle, WA490215Nov 11, 2023
This is the GREATEST bar I've ever been to!!!! Connor, Mo, and Jason are the best door mans ever. Richard and Able are the best bar tenders ever. FANTASTIC espresso martinis. Overall, I would recommend.

Come here during any SF playoff game and it's packed. Today though, not so much. Not too much to say about this, just a typical sports bar and it doesn't appear to have food. That's not a diss or anything, if you want just a straight sports bar then look no further. However if you're looking for sports bar +food +juke box then this isn't the place for you. They also have a pool table here so that's another peek y to this place.

This place is great. When attending the bar we all need to know what common sense is.
Why come to a bar to play with a $6 Lo carb beer?
That's what the park is for.
When you don't agree with something why address the person outside their name. IE asshole. Then expect that you shouldn't get the same respect back.
I love when people pretend vaping/smoking isn't illegal indoors and they say they didn't know.
The problem is these young adults go out, drink, and are not responsible for their own actions and expect you to nurture them like their parents but guess what buddy this is the real world. Your parent suck and you need a little common sense in your life.
No Cap!!!

A chill sports bar on Polk st on a Thursday night with lots of screens playing different games. The drinks were pretty cheap too, under $10 for a tequila soda that I've paid more for at fancier bars. They have a $20 minimum on all cards, fyi!

Was sitting at a table watching college hoops on a crowded day and a bartender came up to my group, yelled at us and called us "stupid motherf***ers", kicked us out.
We asked why and he said he'd tell us why outside but he just disappeared.
I don't care about having to leave the bar but not a great feeling to be yelled and cursed at for no reason. Still confused on why we were kicked out.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Austin H.Provo, UT7084971Sep 7, 2023
Bouncer is an ass. We had a friend walking by while we were outside and he tried to card her and then told her that she needs to leave. Was a total duck about it too.
