The full name for this set is 'Femme Fatale Fables,' however the sexy heroines will occasionally have male helpers, while retaining their leading roles. I have searched various image boards (some I don't normally use for these sets), Google Images, and Deviantart for pictures I could use for the set. The idea for this set is female fables who do not wait for a rescue. They have their own competencies and skills, and decide their own fate. In a very real way, this set started with Merida (Brave) and Rapunzel (Tangled). Merida is skilled in woodcraft, archery, and swordsmanship. Brave has many elements of a classic fairy tale, although Merida herself does not have a man acting opposite her. Note, too, that the Forest Witch is not an evil person. She merely supplies Merida with what she thinks she needs at the time. This is similar to he Sea Witch in the original tale of The Little Mermaid (where the youngest mermaid princess is not named), if not to other witches like Baba Yaga or Dame Gothel. Speaking of, Rapunzel is at least as competent as her would-be rescuer, Flynn Rider, just in different areas: he's street-smart, and she's book-smart, on a multi-diciplinary level. She's also a lot stronger than she looks, being able to toss her hair around so she can use it as a line, swing, or a whip. I'm also talking about upper-body strength here, despite Rapunzel's petite build.

As I was searching for images to use, I came upon the works of F. Scott Campbell, an artist who has worked for many big-name comics, including DC and Marvel. Chances are pretty good you've seen his work before, although possibly not his calendar series, Fairy Tale Fantasies, or the comic series Grimm's Fairy Tales, where he takes vamping the fable women up to '11.' It was a challenge once again to steer away from images that showed a little too much a little too gratuitously: I want the girls to be sexy, but without being overtly sexual in such a way that it would be unsuitable to show these cards here. Some judicuous cropping allowed me to use pictures I wouldn't have otherwise, and some images were straight-up toss-outs because they weren't covering everything they should. I also did my best to remove elements of violence, although once again my image editor is MS Paint.

Besides making the girls sexy I wanted to get closer to the original sources -- without having to read them all. I have thus changed some of the names, and changed some of the pictures and effects to better reflect the oldest sources I could find.
The third and final set is now completely uploaded. All constructive feedback is welcome, and please do enjoy seeing childhood fables in a whole new light. I am still using 'power' to denote 'ATK and DEF.' 'Unique' means you can only run one of that name in your Deck, and that you can only control 1 of that name series at a time. The only possible exception is while you're tribute summoning the next level.
After seeing the pictures I just couldn't leave her out. First there's a light mood, but then she gets all serious -- and who wouldn't be serious with a magic scimitar and the backing of an 800 pound (or so) Bengal tiger? By the way, I believe Arabic names are pronounced phonetically, and that is her original name: despite the story taking place in China, everyone has an Arabic name, and the Emperor behaves more like a Sultan. Anyway, I found it interesting that the Cave of Wonders and the two djinni were in the original tale.
This Aladdin is certainly not the Disney version: he grew up in a brothel, his closest 'friends' prostitutes who would betray him if it was in their best interests. Aladdin is a liar, a cheat, and a gambler. He also carries a secret in his blood that could rewrite the world. One of the things that fascinated me about this version of the story is the relationship between the two married djinni, and that they are fierce, making it known that they could destroy their 'masters' if they were treated poorly and gained their freedom. Another great aspect is Princess Soraya's strength. Move over, Jasmine!
So in Call of Wonderland, Callie is apparently Alice's daughter, even though she just looks like a palette-swap version of her. Interestingly, Callie is also a blonde before she goes through the mirror, at least according to one picture I have. I also wanted to ensure the mother-daughter team had the best possible weapons at their fingertips for their ultimate forms. Their 'steampunk' versions are armed with throwing knives, combat daggers, katanas (or possibly kodachi and wakizachi), and rifles with sights. I know I used pictures that were palette-swaps because Callie's gear is the same colour as Alice's. But I don't mind because they're gorgeous enough, and armed well enough, to drop their opponents dead. By the way, if you can find good pictures of the Hatter, please let me know. I want an action pic, though. Doesn't matter if he's been genderswapped for him to work in this set. I also have more pictures to turn into cards for this tale, they're just filed further down.
I didn't like how Belle's yellow suit looked in one Deviation, so I decided to fill her shoes with an equivilent. Someone who loves books equally, if not more, and who has looks others would appreciate. In most settings, that crosses off Yomiko Readman (Read or Die) and Nodoka Miyzaki (Negima) unless you count her adult version, and there aren't enough coloured versions of her. So I decided on post-skip Levi MacGarden (Fairy Tail) and a human version of Twilight Sparkle (MLP - FiM) instead. This, of course, led to a different version and treatment of Twilight, since she wouldn't be supported by the rest of the Mane 6, or by her previous versions. And this is the result.
Like I said in the Background section, I wanted to use names that were as close to the origininal as possible. Cendrillon got adapted from the French tale, so that's her 'original' name. But even before that, there was a 1st centure BCE Greco-Roman version. So I included her name too. I didn't like the picture I first had for that version because she looked too mean, so I replaced it.
This section will again take much of its cues from Zenescope's comics, as you will see when I add Dorothy's cards. For "Tinman," Tony Stark seemed to easy (if only he had a heart). A mix of Alphonse Elric with the first Iron Man armour, though? Cunningly appropriate. I also like the spirit form look for the Lion, and even the more feminine look for the Scarecrow. I also tried to give them different Attributes. But these pictured versions were impossible to carry through to the Fusion Monster, as you will see later. So choosing the best of the pick became my objective.
So many people picture these four together. First up is Rapunzel, Guardian of Spring. Due to her thirst for knowledge and self-training, she is clear Ravenclaw material. Training her abilities in magic would also give her greater versatility than being a simple healer with above-average upper-body strength and great hair. Merida I explained. Then there's inventive Hiccup, a left-handed swordsman, and finally Jack with his fun times (I'll put his basic level with the other Guardians of Childhood, and the higher levels here). Honestly, while I looked for a picture of Hiccup with both his feet in a Hogwarts robe, I couldn't find one. So we'll make do.

The Fusion Monster would have actually been more powerful if I'd calculated its stats all the way through as I usually do, due to the materials' abilities to boost their own stats off of each other. That would be 1500 ATK 3 times, so I just stopped and rounded down where I felt more comfortable -- after all, "Rainbow Dragon" has 5000 ATK. But trust me, if I'd left it as normal, Vegeta would be saying his famous line.
Gretel wasn't nearly as much of an issue as Hansel, since I found usable pictures easily enough. But I had to ask who could stand in for Hansel? Who could be the somewhat impish, innocent boy? Why, Allen Walker -- and Hansel Gingerman from Sugar Bits. And if I'm going to use Hansel, I may as well include Bo, which is how things ended up the way they did. I didn't want to use Lenalee Lee as Gretel because that would put them in the position of siblings, and I rather like their pairing.
Yes, the series is called The Hiccups. In it, Hiccup's strongest supporters are Fishlegs (who is less than spectacular when not in Berserker Mode) and Camicazi. Camicazi is the daughter of the Bog-Burglars Tribe. There is little of which she is afraid, and she is about as skilled with the sword as Hiccup is -- and far more skilled at picking locks and burgling in general. She even sneaks into a prison to get people out. Most importantly, this blonde dynamo will sneak after Hiccup whenever he goes on one of his adventures, because she doesn't want to miss out on any of the fun. And that's why she's included in this set.
Okay, so the card's not about Alvin the Trecherous, but it is a Trap. Alvin in the books, by the way, is more of the brains and charmer than the bulky musclehead portrayed in Dragons: Riders of Berk. Each of his encounters with Hiccup and his friends seems to cost Alvin an appendage, and almost every time he's worked his way up to being a leader or high-ranked officer of whichever group is in control of the area. Even though it's Hiccup who has an undeniable knack for finding the King's Lost Things, ten items that will declare the holder as the King of the Wilderwest, it is Alvin's own mother, the witch Excellinor, who has the plan.
So this one has connected tales, Jack and the Beanstalk and Jack the Giant Killer. Originally there is no ambivilence about Jack's role: he goes up the beamstalk and, with the innadvertant aid of the Giant's wife, steals from their house. In the second one, Jack becames so well known for his feats as a Giant Slayer that he gains a seat at the Round Table. He also gains magical artifacts to help him in his quests: a cap that heightens intelligence, boots that increase his speed, a cape, and sword.
My biggest challenge here was finding pictures of Aurora / Briar Rose that did not show her sleeping, or with the prince. One picture showed her with a pair of guns forged from Malificent's dragon form, which was cool, but her outfit was a bit on the risky side. I did manage to salvage the guns, though. On the other hand, I enjoy the pic of Briar Rose waiting to ambush the prince: it says to me "another bloke who severly underestimates me?" As Candy from Dave the Barbarian would have it, "don't mess with the Princess!"

I've revised Briar Rose's cards, and added the dragon guns. I hope you like them better than the original versions.
The youngest of he sisters is simply called 'The Little Mermaid' in the original. As far as I could tell, the first name she was given was 'Marina,' by a Japanese production -- far more fitting for a creature of the sea than 'Ariel.' Instead I reserved that for when she became a spirit of air instead of turning into bubbles. I was going to use a picture of her going through some things she'd found, but there's no mention of Ariel's collection hobby in the original. Basically, TLM enchants with her voice as a mermaid, and after she trades her voice to become human she dances instead, although doing so causes her pain. Unlike in the Disney production, TLM loses the Prince because he fell in love with the girl who found him on the beach, but TLM continues to live because she refused to kill the Prince just to preserve her own life. As to the pictures I did use, what's important to cover is covered. Swordplay, when done right, is a lot like a dance, and I simply enjoy the fact the artist for the second one has tied TLM's hair back to mimic Kit Fisto's head-tails. If you saw him in the Clone Wars cartoon, you know how awesome he is, and that he can take out whole platoons of battle droids with a smile on his face. It also seems an apt comparison as both Fisto and TLM are sea creatures. The last one shows TLM's new alignment to the air, but also what she might be like as her kingdom's ruler in place of her father -- why the youngest daughter would become his air I don't quite know. It's just cool. Plus, both the second and third cards show her armed, which follows the purpose of this set.
It seems very common now to be able to find pictures of Red that are either sexy or bada$$, and I find I am not surprised at how few of them come from Hoodwinked, due to that movie's awkward aesthetics. It would have been easy to go with the Valerie character from the recent Red Riding Hood (due largely to Amanda Siefrieg's big eyes and outy lips), but again she needs to be armed. It's actually not that hard. Actually, it became harder to choose between pictures in this case -- sort of like with Alice. In fact, there seem to be three or four fable heroines who commonly get this treatment.
Cendrillon's samurai look was what I originally had for her Rhodopis card, but in it her pose just looked wierd, and she looked more angry than anything else, so I didn't it for the friendlier picture with the pumpkin sword. The picture for "Glass Reach" is simply epic. Theer was a lighter version as well, but Pinocc's rose cheaks just seemed too out of place. You may be wondering about "Wonderwild" and "Spectrum Swords," since their pictures are just flipped. The one I was going for originally was "Spectrum Swords," but I forgot which monsters were the material, and by the time I noticed I already had a new cards, with the stats calculated. Rather than throw it away, I decided to keep it -- and flipped the picture. "Wildpack" is, of course, the other version of "Spectrum Swords." Both "White Glass" and "Hunter Duo" show the materials fighting each other. I'd like to say it's just a ruse, but Sela and Red really do seem to be up against each other in Grimm's Fairy Tales. As for Alice and Red, you can't possibly look at that picture and tell me it's not cool, can you? I was fairly certain "Snowgold" featured Goldilocks and not Muffet, because Muffet is almost always depicted with the hat. So I went with that. Curds and whey or oatmeal, these women have pretty fierce attitudes. That's why I've included them.

I've been feeling very under the weather, so I haven't updated in the lat two days. Here's the next portion, from Sleeping Beauty, otherwise known as Little Briar-Rose. I'm still not recovered, but it's been awhile since I updated. I decided to add my cards based on Beauty and the Beast. As usual, the problem is that I can go for sexy far more easily than I can go for the armed and sexy look. If I was to do that, I may as well go with the usual Belle. But these are femme fatales, so I have to arm them.

Added to Other:

- Biancabella & Samaritana: it's about two sisters, once a white snake (Samaritana). Brushing Biancabella's hair produces jewels, so she is an excellent resource card.

- Bo Peep: although I do plan on redoing her. It's pretty obvious why, if you know whose work I have already used for cards.

- Bremen Town Musicians: A tale about four animals discarded by their owners, who find a purpose for themselves.

- Boy Blue: he just looks cool.

- Death: from the pages of Sandman and her own comic, this gal has a Shinigami-like power. Her family is all demi-gods, and I like her spirit.

More to come later.

Added to 'Dorothy in Oz:'

- Fable - Dorothy Gale: blowing into Oz on a storm.

- Fable - One-Shot Dorothy: one shot is all you have on her, and one shot is all she needs.

- Fabled Dorothy: more experinced and wiser, the fastest gunslinger in the Wicked West.

Spell: Beneficial Oversight

Fusion Monster: Fable - Silver Slipper Gang: the best picture of the gang showing their potential power. Tinman and Lion look awesome. Dorothy's got a gun and silver boots (the version I have she has silver slippers, not ruby ones), and even Scarecrow doesn't look like a complete Straw Man.

I've got one more set of 3 before I've upped my original set of 50 cards. I already have 50 more, but I'll wait 'till after I've upped tomorrow's share before I put up the next set all together, and then start adding them bit by bit again while I continue to create more cards -- that's right, there's more coming!

A reminder that Set 2 contains the revisions to Briar Rose's cards. I will replacing the original versions, unless someone asks me to keep them up.

- Fable - Cenerentola: written by a Neopolitan. All I can think of is ice cream, though.

- Fable - Cendrillon: taken directly from the cover of Cinderella: From Fabletown With Love. I really enjoyed that take on Cindy's character.

- Fabled Rhodopis: regaining her ancient identiy and power, none will call her an 'Ashen Fool' again.

- If the Slipper Fits: and it does...

This brings to an end the initial 50 cards I uploaded. Tomorrow I will upload my second set of cards, and replace the original Briar Rose cards with my revisions, so she too can be "Fabled."

I see there are many views of this set, but I have no idea if anybody is enjoying the cards so far, due to lack of comments. Are you all just waiting until I finish uploading the cards? Because that could take awhile yet.

Today, as promised, is the start of the second set.

Revised:

- Fable - Princess Aurora: pretty much the same.

- Fable - Briar Rose: downgraded to a Level 6.

Added:

- Fabled Briar Rose: now has sorcerous powers that give her control over plants. Not having a sword no longer means she's unarmed.

- Dragon Scales Gun

- Dragon Breath Gun

And to an area for general Equip Spells I've added:

- Chainwings

More to come tomorrow.

Added:

- Goldilocks

- Jack Frost into 'Guardians of Childhood'

- the rest of the 'Guardians of the Seasons.'

This is more cards than usual. Maybe I've caught up a little to where I would be if I hadn't gotten sick. Maybe I won't post more tomorrow. It's up to the mood. In the meantime, enjoy the cards!

I realized there was an error on Jack Frost's tier 1 card. I fixed it.

Added:

- Fable - Badroulbadour: This is Princess Jasmine, okay?

- Fabled Badroulbadour

- Fable - Camicazi of the Bog-Burglars: Being the chieftain's daughter also makes her something of a princess. Not that she ever shows it since she'd rather fight or burgle you.

- Fabled Camicazi

Today I've moved Bo Peep over to the "Hansel and Gretel" section, because I added not only them, but cards for Bo from Bleedman's original series, Sugar Bits. This is the change to which I alluded earlier. I also added "Rifleblade" to the General Equip section.

Added:

- Fable - Snow Queen

- Red Riding Hood Spells

- Hikogitsune Sisters & Great Goat to 'Other Fables.'

I've also decided to change to an alphabetical organization method instead of plunking them down in the order I made them. The 'other' sections are still at the bottom, and there I intend to keep them.

Added:

- Fabled Witch Hunters, Hansel & Gretel: I don't know why I forgot I had already uploaded this card. It's there now. So cute. So deadly.

- Wrong Window!: Yes, Hiccup is up for climbing towers. But Astrid doesn't look too pleased, does she. Wonder why. I put this under 'Hiccup Series' because Astrid isn't on the Big 4.

- Giselle's Empathy: She may be playing with Pinocchio, but this is one of the rare good animated pictures of her. And I needed to lighten the load on other cards for a special Fusion Monster I'll be working on shortly.

- Jack & Jill's First Aid: Self-explanatory. This and the above card are under 'Other,' in the Spell Cards section.

- The Witch's Wooden Mallet: I actually forget which fable from which this came, but I know it's magic. Don't ask me why she's so skimpily-dressed, because I don't know. General Equip Spells section.

This brings to a close the 50+ cards of set 2. I hope to finish off the cards I have left to make today, so I can upload the rest together as set 3, and then add them day by day as I've already been doing. And of course, this means we are heading into the final stretch in what is probably one of the more expansive sets out there. So I hope you're all enjoying these cards as much as I am: they've already exceeded my expectations, and I'm not done yet.

I would find it interesting to know which cards people would use in their Decks, so maybe you could make deck lists once I'm done.

Nobody said anything, so I caught my mistake with "Cenerentola" myself: now she's a proper Neophyte, although it doesn't show up in her name (which is already long enough).

Alice in Wonderland

- Fable - Madoka Hatta: I mentioned how I was looking for a way to include the Hatter. Now I've got her in the set, so she can lend Alice a hand. Or a hat.

The Princess Bride

- Fable - Fezzik: muscle with a heart of gold.

- Fable - Inigo Montoya: the six-fingered monster sent his father to the Graveyard. It should now prepare to die. Unless Inigo got drunk again.

- Fable - Buttercup & Westley: after seeing the picture I just couldn't resist.

- The Poisoned Chalice Challenge: It's inconceivable that I forgot to post this yesterday!

The Swan Princess

- Fable - Swan Queen Odette

- Odette and Odile's Dance of Light and Dark

Others

- Fable - Pied Piper of Hamelin: I know he's not a femme fatale, however being able to lure other creatures? Pretty similar.

- Fable - Pinocchio: If you like his look now, wait 'till you see after he cuts his strings. In the meantime, please note that proper sizing to avoid squishing or stretching the picture practically demanded that I cut off the puppeteer's head. Oh well.

Today seems to be Red Riding Hood Day:

- Fable - Red Riding Hood

- Fable - Red Hunting Hood

- Fabled Red Hunter

- Taming Wolves

- Red Hunter's Trophies

- Lucky Red Riding Hood

- Red Brigade Blitz

- Red Temptress: her outfit here is really different.

- Red Innocence

- Lurking Wolf's Dreams: Or at least Alice-chan's dreams.

- Dangerous Escape: I know frills are visible, however I did not think it was in an inappropriate manner, due to the rest of the picture.

On the one hand, a lot of these pictures can look very sexy. On the other, there's every indication that Red means business. And on the other other hand, there's just no resisting the charm of Lucky Star or Labyrinth at the Crossroads, particularly with Yune and Alice. I really like how easy it was to find pictures where Red did not look helpless or scared. Rather, she seems like she could do the Woodcutter's / Huntsman's job, in my opinion.

I've gotten tired of uploading a little once a day, so if I can I'll start doing this twice a day. I've enough cards to get in a decent amount of post points this way as well (and why shouldn't I, when my FB account was so much more advanced than this one)? So now I've added:

Big 4 / Guardians

- Fabled Sun & Dragon: Yes, I know the picture puts Hiccup in a different house. They're just so cute together.

- Fabled Frostfire

Snow-White & Rose-Red

- Fable - Neophyte Rose Red

- Fable - Rose Red

- Fable - Snowhite: This spelling to avoid mixing her up with "Fable - Snow White."

- Fable - Rose Red Thorn

- Fable - Yukiko

- Fabled Rose Red

- Fabled Yukiko: The way Reki kept describing how feminine Kirito's avatars are, who better than him with his M9000 avatar from GGO? Better yet, you can pick the pic.

- Empathic Trance

- Rose Garden

- Roses at Night

- Snow Rose Assistance

- Fabled Rose Snow

More tomorrow morning, in all probability.

Good morning. I've added:

Guardians of Childhood

- Fable - E. Aster Bunnymund, Hope Guardian

- Fable - Nicholas North, Wonder Guardian

- Fable - Toothiana, Memory Guardian

- Fable - Sandman, Dream Guardian

- Fabled Tooth

- Tsuki in the Moon

- Fabled Guardians of Childhood

Snow White & the Hunstman

- Fable - Snow White

- Fable Shirayuki

- Fabled Shirayuki

- Bixby's Back-Up

- Snow's Dwarven Army

- Spells & Swords

- Apple Temptation: I'll be honest - I never once thought that the queen could have blonde hair, because of that hood or whatever it is.

- More, Please: That's not a request, the Queen's plot was defeated by Snow's dwarf-like appetite and stomach!

Other

- Fable - Robyn Hood

- Fable - Sahrazad: I wanted to keep the accents in her name, but the cardmaker doesn't like them. Boo.

Added:

Snow-White-Fire-Red (yes, that was her full name in the original tale, which has similarities to Rapunzel).

- Fable - Snow White Fire Red

- Fable - Shirayuki Enpatsu

- Fabled Shirayuki Enpatsu

Three Little Pigs: I envisioned these as being similar to Jack's Knight, Queen's Knight, and King's Knight, only much weaker, because they're unarmed pigs. I also didn't want to make them girls, and didn't imagine that working too well anyway. Not when it comes to the Fusion Monster, especially.

- Fable - Straw Pig

- Fable - Wood Pig

- Fable - Brick Pig

- Fable - Three Pig Contractors: On the job. After lunch.

Rule of Cool: I moved the Mikogitsune here, then added some. I mean, their pictures are too cool to ignore.

- Fable - Lore Slinger

- Fable - Seamstress

So you know, the only Monster Cards left are the Fusion Monsters. I will be working my way through to them.

Cendrillon

- Rocket Pump-kin

- Fairy Fable - Blue Fairy (with 2 pictures from which to choose).

- Fairy Nudge: wink wink, nudge nudge.

- Berserkerella - Note to self: never anger her.

- Enchantment Undone: I was super-careful with this one to ensure everything that should be covered still is.

Other - Spells

- Green Hopes - based on The Princess & the Frog.

- Princess Marie's Detection Skills: based on The Princess & the Pea.

- Swan-Princes' Sister: based on The Six Swans.

- Karmic Creature Ageha: For every creature that was helped and came back in human form.
