Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford will host a series of town hall meetings to present information on completed projects, ongoing projects and new initiatives. The first meeting is Thursday 6 p.m. at Boutwell Auditorium.
In addition the meeting city officials will also be on hand to provide information on city services. Representatives from the Negro Baseball League, Friends of Rickwood Field, The Birmingham Zoo, and JCCEO Head Start will be present to answer questions and offer more information on various projects. Staff from the Children's Healthcare partnership and ALLKids will also be at the meeting to provide information and sign up uninsured children.
Langford's office plans to host similar meetings at various churches throughout the city in the next few weeks.
