time and relative dimensions in stitches

I'm really happy with how the framing on this one turned out. it wasn't what I had in mind originally, but I found the oval frame on sale at JoAnns and it seemed like a good idea. it took me a while to find the right place for it in my apartment, but it looks great up on the wall now. it makes me smile every time I see it!

 

based on an idea I came up with a couple months ago, but didn't have time to execute until I got my x-mas knitting out of the way. I worked on it like a woman possessed and turned it out in record time.

 

worked on 18 ct. pale blue aida.
