Post-election round table on science communication
In the aftermath of the election, many in the scientific community are re-evaluating our role in public discourse. To what degree are we responsible for ensuring science is correctly interpreted and understood by the public?
Where should the line between research and advocacy be drawn? How can science and technology, both fundamental and applied, remain relevant to society at large?
Join Communicating Science @ MIT for a roundtable discussion on how we as a community can move forward and disseminate our knowledge beyond our lab benches and desktops.
6-8 pm, Wednesday November 30, 2016. MIT room 4-144. Dinner will be provided.
