Since 1964, Carpinteria Valley Association’s (CVA) mission has been to preserve and enhance the rural beauty and open-field agriculture of the valley and maintain the small beach-town charm of Carpinteria and Summerland. CVA strives to reach these goals by providing education and advocacy on issues related to land use, planning, and community development with a focus on the region's natural resources and environment.
