Riley is our rescue puppy. He has 3 legs and bad anxiety. He has anxiety attacks often and a few issues as he has been through a lot, and has bad memories still, but he is lovable as life and filled with character.
Riley ‘Almost Home’ is a sweet touching short movie I made about his anxiety and him learning to let go of his bad experiences and work through his anxiety.
I hope you enjoy the short film, and I hope it motivates anyone to adopt an animal in need. If you are weary about adopting an animal, please watch the video, as I think it will show you how lovable they are, any animal can work through their issues with the right help and love.

Today, August 16, marks one year since Sturgis died. Eleven years ago, this wiggly little puppy came into our lives just a few days after I had surgery and he was a huge part of my healing. He helped me through my anger and depression over my body betraying me and made every day easier to get through. It’s been one year since he died, and my heart hasn’t yet mended itself, but I am a better person for ever having known him at all. I miss him with every ounce of my being and I love him without limits.
This is my pibble mix, Lotus (which is why she has a pink flower attached to her collar). I also call her POTUS, Lodi, Pupcake, and Tootie. She likes carrots, snuggles, her squeeky broccoli toy, carrots, and licking pillows. She is delightfully insane and I don’t know what I would do without her. Enjoy the cuteness!
