Pubs Recommended For Away Fans

Most pubs near to the ground are for home fans only, with The Silver Cod to be avoided in particular. Three Crowns and New Walton Street Club both welcome away fans.

Others in the city centre are open to away fans. Message board user tiger1971 suggests The New Clarence near the Hull New Theatre or Three John Scotts (Wetherspoon) near Guildhall. However, both are quite a walk from the stadium and you would also be advised to get there early.

Closer to the stadium, tiger1971 says to try Princes Avenue, where there are plenty of decent café bars. There's usually no trouble if you're in family groups, but you should keep team colours to a minimum. The Linnet & Lark ought to be avoided.

If you fancy seeing the Marina, The Green Bricks and The Minerva come recommended for both food and drink by Toby1956 and tiger1971. This is an estimated 45-minute walk to the ground.

You can find more information from a home fan's perspective in the Matchday Pub Guide.
