Mainframe is a computational powerhouse for the Autobot Ministry of Science. Notes
- Mainframe is an obvious homage to the Generation 1 Action Master of the same name.
- Mainframe was officially revealed in a March 09 blog post by Derrick J. Wyatt, who claimed that, like his G1 namesake, he does not transform. (Aww.) [1]
- This was contradicted by the AllSpark Almanac II, which states that Mainframe transforms into (what else?) a computer mainframe. (Yay!)
- According to Wyatt's twitter feed, Mainframe "is totally in the show because Trent Troop bought me the toy at last year's Botcon." [2]
Foreign names
- Japanese: Mainframe (メインフレーム Meinfurēmu)
