Thank you for your interest in collaborating with the
Basic Needs Center. This form serves as the
centralized location to make requests for collaboration including, but not limited to, presentations, program participation, partnerships, interviews, or any other areas for collaboration. Taking into consideration our Center’s scope and responsibility to serve all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, as well as our team’s capacity, our ability to honor all requests is limited. While we may not be able to fulfill your request, we encourage you to first utilize our resources below:
- Basic Needs Center Toolkit: Includes an up-to-date recorded presentation highlighting Basic Needs Center services, outreach materials, and shareable resources. We hope this Toolkit will be a helpful resource for you, your team, and your student community to learn more about our services and programs.
- Basic Needs Center Events: This calendar highlights the various programs, events, and drop-in hours we offer for the community.
If these resources don’t meet the needs of your request, please feel free to complete our Collaboration Request Form. These requests will be monitored by our team and directed to the most appropriate staff member. Typically, we will reach back out within 5-7 business days of your request.
Types of Collaboration Requests:
Basic Needs Center Presentation
- The Basic Needs Center offers presentations highlighting our services and programs. With our capacity restraints, we are limited in the number of presentations we are able to do each year. For this reason, we prioritize presentations for communities that are basic needs-impacted, especially those with larger audiences. Additionally, depending on the context, we recommend that groups consider using our recorded presentation webinar in lieu of us coming to present.
Tabling or Resource Fair
- If you are interested in the Basic Needs Center tabling at your resource fair or event.
Joint Program or Event
- If you are interested in partnering with the Basic Needs Center for a joint program or event.
CalFresh Application Assistance Clinic
- The Basic Needs Center can facilitate a CalFresh Clinic, wherein members of our CalFresh team share information and assist students applying for CalFresh.
- If you are interested in interviewing a member of the Basic Needs Center team, whether for an article, news story, class assignment, research paper, etc. We require a minimum of 7 days advance notice to schedule time for an interview.
