ABLENET CURRICULUM TRAINING  FOR TEACHERS OF REGIONAL PROGRAMS


Day 1 – AbleNet Equals Math Curriculum
Equals is the first and only math curriculum written specifically for students with mild, moderate, and severe/profound disabilities.  This full-day workshop will include an introduction to the placement assessment and teacher chapter materials, a lesson walk-thru, demonstration of math instructional methodologies, differentiated instructional strategies, and review of the Members only Website where additional resources are posted.


Day 2 – AbleNet MEeville Literacy Curriculum
 MEville to WEville Complete Collection is a literacy program aligned to Common Core State Standards. It was developed for students with significant disabilities who need an appropriate starting place to develop emerging literacy skills. This full day workshop will include introduction of assessment and program materials, lesson walk-thru, demonstration of instructional strategies, and review of the Members only Website where additional resources are posted.


Attendance is required for both days.
