Abigail Bainbridge is currently a Reporter and Clerk with the LaGrange Standard and News. She is open to both local and virtual freelance writing opportunities.

She studied journalism with a concentration in public relations, as a member of Indiana University Bloomington’s class of 2020. She also minored in creative writing and communication and public advocacy, both of which are through the English department. Additionally, she completed a Certificate in Applied Research and Inquiry (CARI) through the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, which included a research thesis on how the use of Twitter impacts the election performance of candidates who don't accept PAC money.

In college she held several positions, including a Social Media and Student Outreach Coordinator for the Indiana University Division of Student Affairs and a Marketing and Events Intern at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana.
