Thank you for showing interest in the Strategies for Effective Academic Writing Program! This writing workshop series will help you become a more confident writer by gaining an in-depth understanding of the academic writing process from start to finish. All workshops are taught by an experienced faculty member, Dr. Nicole Warwick from the UCSB Writing Program. You will receive a certificate for successfully completing the Write with Confidence Program.

The program consists of 6 workshops:
1. The Academic Writing Process: Why Do We Fear it? And How Do I begin?
2. Strategies for Successful Reading: Learning to Identify and Apply Main Ideas and Concepts in Writing
3. Constructing an Academic Paper: What Do I Need to Know?
4. Revision: How Do I Take my Writing to a Deeper Level?
5. Am I Ready to Submit this Paper?: The Editing Process
6. TBD
