This is the basic 2D Side Scrolling template that is purely 2D and uses Base paper 2D. Here you’ll have a character that can walk, turn and jump and also a small stage created from tile maps. Project and post processing settings have been adjusted for improved performance and 2D rendering.

PaperZD Side Scroller Template Download | Cobra Code
This is a 2D/3D hybrid Side Scroller template which uses 2D Sprite characters, but utilizes 3D backgrounds to create a unique art style. This template uses PaperZD and implements Animation graphs for the characters. To show how Animation Overrides work, I also implemented a simple sword attack you can use for reference. This is a great starting point for Platformers, Metroidvanias, Beat ‘em ups and much more.
