PORTSMOUTH – SOMMA Studios, an architectural design firm in downtown Portsmouth, announced it will unveil a new website, www.sommastudios.com, Saturday, Feb. 14 as part of its #SOMMALove campaign.

The new site, built by local creative marketing firm Boldwerks of Portsmouth, will allow the designers to showcase their work with an assortment of images designed for compatibility with the latest retina display technology.

“We are so excited to finally have a page that truly displays our work in full detail,” said SOMMA founder Jennifer Ramsey. “Previously, our work was spread out between our old site and our other media channels like Facebook. With the new site, our portfolio is now accessible in one, easy-to-navigate place on the web. It really looks incredible.”

The site highlights some of the firm’s newest ventures, including its role in the new parkside development in Portsmouth’s South End and the re-making of 30 Maplewood Ave. into a mixed-use space.

“I think the site does a wonderful job encompassing our scope,” said designer Dennis Maccarone. “We have always felt equally comfortable working on projects from small residential kitchen remodels to large, commercial developments. The new site will help strengthen our reputation as a full-service design firm, capable of producing quality work at any scale.”

For ease of use, the site has been neatly organized into two main categories, residential and commercial, then further classified by subcategories within each heading such as “residential – single-family,” or “commercial – mixed-use.” This allows users to quickly navigate to the section of the site that is most relevant to what they are looking for.

The site also gives readers information about the company, its people and its guiding principles.

“It was really important to us to allow potential clients to really get to know us,” Ramsey said. “Visitors will notice that we included a lot of information about us, including bios and pages dedicated to walking people through our process and our philosophies.”

The new site’s release coincides with SOMMA's #SOMMALove social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter. To follow, visit SOMMA Studios, LLC on Facebook and @SOMMAStudios on Twitter.
