I understand that I am volunteering for Solar One at Stuyvesant Cove Park, in Manhattan, NY and that I will not be paid for my services. I understand that I am responsible for my own behavior, and will only perform volunteer work that has been specifically assigned by an authorized supervisor and that I feel capable, comfortable and safe doing. I hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Economic Development Corporation and Solar One from any liability, claims, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury to me or my property that I may sustain in connection with or arising out of my volunteering. If I am injured while performing my assigned duties as a Stuyvesant Cove Park volunteer, I agree to notify my supervisor as soon as possible. I understand that, because of the COVID-19 crisis, representatives from Solar One may not be present while I am volunteering, and I am working my volunteer hours on my own. I also affirm that I will take proper COVID-19 precautions for the safety of myself and fellow park goers (i.e wearing a mask while working, washing hands frequently, and social distancing when possible)
