Product Description
TAKARA TOMY LEGO Minifigures Series 7 Bagpiper Bagpiping runs in the Bagpiper’s blood. His father played the bagpipes, and so did his grandfather, his great-grandfather and their grandfathers before them, all the way back to the day the beloved musical instrument first arrived in Scotland. He’s played his pipes for weddings, marches, wrestling matches and haggis-eating contests (he’s also played them at chess tournaments and libraries, but for some reason his enthusiastic performances didn’t go over so well then). Other musical styles may come and go, but the Bagpiper knows in his heart that the bagpipes will last forever!

Pros: it is so iconic and unique. The designer must have put a lot of thoughts into it. I love every single part of it top to bottom: the hat has so many folds, the bagpipe is so beautifully breath-taking, the little colorful kilt and the prints on its pants have so much Irish style on them...seriously, this is definitely one of the most well-designed and complicated collectable minifigures so far.
Cons: first of all, the kilt is indeed a bit difficult to make it look neat. Secondly, the price of this minifigure is very high (and is still increasing), I think among all the series of collectable minifigures, this is one of the most expensive one so far (except for Mr. Gold, of course). But if you really love it, you just have to eat in the cost. I don't think the price is ever going to drop.
