NW Journalism Experience - Summer Adviser Workshop
Northwest Scholastic Press and the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication present: NW Journalism Experience, a summer adviser workshop | June 25-28, 2017 | University of Oregon - Eugene, OR

Journalism Workshops and the Oregon Experience.
What a great combination. Attend engaging lectures on advising publications, beginning and advanced InDesign, photography, and yearbook design; plus adviser roundtables on yearbook and newspaper (see schedule for the full list of offered workshops). And round out the evening with exploring all the uniqueness Eugene has to offer. Nestled in Eugene, OR on the campus of the University of Oregon, NW Journalism Experience provides valuable instruction for new and experienced advisers, along with time to explore the beautiful Willamette Valley.

Maybe you just landed your first job.
Or perhaps you need to help your students redesign their publication. Perhaps you want to learn that new software, like Illustrator. Or maybe you want to finally venture into the world of web publishing, or digital photography.

Regardless of your reasons for coming,
NW Journalism Experience and the beautiful Willamette Valley offer a unique blend of professional enrichment and personal enjoyment. Visit Eugene, OR this June and see for yourself!

The workshop fee of $300 includes a basic fee for the class, single room with linen supply, campus parking permit, and meals.
