Mathematics Education in the Digital Age
This opening module begins with an examination of the NCSM framework for decision-making related to technology integration in support of mathematics teaching and learning.  Users will also find introductions to the three constellations in this professional learning series: Imperatives for Change, Technology & Teaching, and Technology & Assessment. The NCSM White Paper: Mathematics Education in the Digital Age, forms the foundation of this module.
 
Selecting Digital Resources for Teaching & Learning
This module explores issues associated with selecting instructional technology resources, including instructional software, to enhance mathematics teaching and learning.  The module includes an overview of the range of digital instructional resource currently available, recommended tools for reviewing digital-based textbooks and facilitation notes to support software product review activities.  Users will also find a conversation guide to facilitate needed discussions between math and IT educators in support of purchasing decisions.
 
Formative Assessment Using Technology
This module will explore digital opportunities that can be leveraged in support of the formative assessment process both for teachers and students!  Resources in this module will help teachers explore the use of a variety of formative assessment strategies that can be enhanced with the use of technology.
