Manchester Learning Event : Bed management and patient flow

This series of workshops brings together NHS Digital, NHS Improvement, NHS England and the AHSN Network to share current best practice on maximising patient flow through both technology adoption and the underpinning processes and behaviours.

Participants coming along to one of these events will:

• Share practical examples of how innovations around patient flow have improved quality and safety, as well as staff and patient experience within their own trusts.

• Explore how other trusts have utilised differing technology combinations to transform data into meaningful solutions and action.

• Learn from others who have saved time and resources and gain the benefit from nationally collected case studies, examples and tools from the national ALB’s participating and supporting

• Work together with peers to explore opportunities to further enhance and improve participants existing plans to improve patient flow utilising the resources provided

Delivered through a series of two practical, action-focused workshops, participants will take learning from the first event back to their organisations for practical consideration and discussion. This will enable them to share their own learning and challenges at Workshop 2, where our teams will work collaboratively with your organisation to build short, medium and long-term action plans towards the adoption of a live bed state.
