Event Description:

This two day workshop is designed specifically for school personnel responsible for medication administration. It addresses: distribution concerns, legal parameters of medication administration, storage and access, record keeping procedures and conditions, and first aid (application of dressings, ointment etc.). Day two provides information on asthma, anaphylaxis and level 1 and level 2 diabetes training for school staff. It does not include training on insulin and glucagon injections.
