There is one (1) opening for a project full-time Information Technology Specialist 4 (ITS 4) within the Division of Information Resource Management – Customer Relations Management. This recruitment may be used to fill other project ITS 4 positions within the office.
 
The Office of Drinking Water (ODW), SENTRY to SDWIS Prime Migration project and this position are currently funded through October 15, 2019.

Primary Duties
 
This position works in coordination with the Office of Drinking Water (ODW) Lead IT Project Manager and the IT project team and is responsible for tracking and monitoring IT activities required to complete ODW SENTRY to SDWIS Migration, Plus Interfaces and other related projects. S/he works collaboratively with the EPH Program Manager. This position assists, directs, plans, manages and coordinates activities associated with infrastructure requirements, development of interfaces and reports along with a data warehouse, and assists with ongoing maintenance of the master project schedule as required.
 
This position applies senior-level knowledge and skills in project management assisting with organizing and planning projects for the ODW, meeting strict delivery dates. S/he will lead activities assigned to achieve the project goals and objectives, manage using quality and Lean principles, and produce deliverables that meet the cost, time, risk, scope, quality expectations and ultimately meet the satisfaction of the customer.
 
This position partners with the Lead IT Project Manager to ensure that IT requirements and the final system meet business requirements. Work performed by this project must clearly reflect business requirements, support the future direction of the business as well as technology plans, and support streamlined processes and performance metrics.
 
Required Qualifications
          NOTE: Experience may have been gained concurrently.
 
·       An Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology program or a closely related field; AND two (2) years (full-time equivalent) of professional IT project coordination/management. 
 
OR
 
·       Four (4) years (full-time equivalent) of professional experience in IT project coordination/management.
 
AND
 
·       Two (2) or more years of direct experience managing medium to large IT project teams.
 
Desired Qualifications
          NOTE: Experience may have been gained concurrently.
 
·       A Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Informations Systems, or a closely allied field.
 
·       Project Management Certification (PMP)

Retirement and Deferred Compensation
