Telling Our Story: Walking with The Prophets

May 5 - 7, 2017 • JCC Perlstein, Lake Delton, WI

We come from a legacy of Prophets. With courage and artistry, they spoke out against injustice, rallied their communities, and did so with poetry and style. On the Anshe Emet Retreat adults, teens and children of all ages will explore the words of the Prophets. We will find our own words in the process, revealing the story of our people.

Join the entire Anshe Emet community for a fabulous weekend of spirituality, learning and bonding. Experience Shabbat in the serene setting of the Perlstein Resort at Camp Chi in Wisconsin!  The Retreat is designed with all ages and demographics in mind. Enjoy adult-oriented opportunities: yoga, Torah learning with the Rabbis, poker night, happy hour, musical prayer, and trivia. Programs for teens & youth include: games, sports, learning and kid-friendly prayers. No matter who you are the Retreat has something to offer!

Back by popular demand is our Retreat book club! This year we are reading Rabbi Zoe Klein's creative novel, imagining the life of the prophet Jeremiah, Drawing in the Dust. All attendees are invite to read the book and join the conversation.

Make sure to register by Friday, March 17 to take advantage of our early bird rates. Deadline for registration is Friday, April 21.
