The Boeing Co.’s fourth 787 Dreamliner jet has been conducting tests in Colorado Springs.
The jet returned to southern California today, according to FlightAware. The fourth 787 built had been in Phoenix before flying to Colorado for high-field elevation tests.
Altogether, the four flight test 787s that Boeing has flying today have accumulated more than 840 hours of flight testing. The fifth flight test 787 is supposed to join the fleet within weeks, Boeing officials said last week.
Boeing plans to deliver the first 787 by year’s end.
