We the taxpayers of Ontario demand that the ongoing OPP investigations into the deletion of emails and wiping of hard drives regarding the cancellation of natural gas powered hydro-generating plants in Mississauga and Oakville, Ontario be turned over to the non-biased RCMP for further investigation. The OPP are funded by the Ontario Government and are also investigating the Ontario Government which raises questions of conflict of interest.  How can an entity such as the OPP investigate its’ own boss objectively and fairly? No matter what the outcome, taxpayers will always wonder if it was biased, especially after the obvious support of the Liberals by the OPP during the recent provincial election.
Taxpayers of this great province have a right to know what really happened with those emails, as well as ALL true costs, cancellation fees and penalties. With a non-biased entity in charge of the investigation, no matter what the outcome, Ontarians will believe that justice has been done.
