Hey y'all!!
My name is Fabienne Roth and I'm your new USAC Gen Rep3 for 2014-2015. I am a huge proponent of inclusivity, transparency and making sure USAC remains relevant to students and I can't wait to see all that we will accomplish this next year!

My office is one of 3 Gen Rep offices, and 1 of 13 offices that make up the USAC council - this office is a blank slate and I can't wait to successfully fulfil not only my own initiatives but also all the new ones we bring up throughout the year. Here are my platforms:

1. International Student Advocacy - working closely with the Dashew centre to ensure that international student concerns are voiced on the council table and to administration!
2. 'Brewin' Card' UCLA coffee-shops loyalty rewards card - we will be working with ASUCLA to bring students a stamp card that gets them a free drink after a certain amount of purchases.
3. 'The 411 on the 310' - 1. Bringing food on the hill during breaks to make sure everyone feels at home here. 2. Spotlighting a monthly event happening around the greater LA area and facilitating transport to it to make sure we take advantage of all the things this amazing city has to offer 3. Homeless student advocacy by reaching out to existing student groups and working together to talk to administration about this issue.

BUT these are just some of the things we will be working on - this is our office and it is our visions that shape what it ultimately will do and I'm excited to hear your ideas!
