Historian and author John L. Bell will discuss the aftermath of the Boston Tea Party in 1774. The engine of colonial resistance was a little-understood institution: the colonial militia. Bell is the author of “The Road to Concord: How Four Stolen Cannon Ignited the Revolutionary War”. He maintains the Boston 1775 blog.
