Editorial Reviews

Review

"The Way of Nacor follows the Seekers children on an adventure to an alien land called Zantura...

I enjoyed this book. The scenes in the cave are excellent. The Biblical themes have been incorporated very well without being preachy, which is great...

...Scenes throughout this book that involved the children caring for one another moved me to tears, nearly every time. The plot twists and turns after the Hall of Portals were very unexpected. Overall, a very entertaining and heart-felt read that spins worthwhile themes into a rich tapestry.

I found this novel to be very Narnia-esque with a scifi, as opposed to fantasy feel. You could definitely see the influence of C.S. Lewis on this book. I really enjoyed enjoyed getting to know the children as they embarked on this adventure. It was very apparent while reading this book that there it had a very strong Christian influence. I would imagine that for some this would be a huge positive for some readers. I could also see it as a not so positive thing for some other readers, so please keep it in mind when choosing this book. The story ended with the whole story being told, so there is no cliff hanger to drive you bonkers. The author did, however, leave the door open for the Seekers children to embark on another adventure in the future. I am looking forward to future books in this series. This book is categorized as YA and I believe the content was appropriate for that age group.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
