No charges expected in pedestrian death

No charges are expected in the death of a man hit by a car in Jeffersontown Thursday morning.
It happened around 5:30 in the 4500 block of Taylorsville Road.
Police say 44-year-old Vernon Anderson was crossing the street when he was struck by a pick up truck. He died at the scene.
The accident happened in front of Kennedy Metro Middle School, but no children were injured.
