According to multiple sources in Poland, discussions are taking place for a cruiserweight unification between IBO champion Antonio Tarver (29-6, 20 KOs) and WBC champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (46-2-1, 33 KOs). Both boxers want the fight, and Wlodarczyk's promoter in Poland, Andrzej Wasilewski, has a good feeling about the clash actually happening. Reportedly, Showtime is interested in picking up the fight. However, if a deal falls through, Wlodarczyk would still be interested in facing former four division champion Roy Jones Jr. (55-8, 40 KOs). Tarver-Wlodarczyk is being targeted for a date in the month of March.
