With Lindsay Lohan‘s Saturday Night Live return set for March 3, NBC has released the first spots for actress’ fairly left-field hosting gig.
She addresses the elephant in the room right off the bat.
“I’m so glad you’re back,” says cast member Kenan Thompson.
“Oh thanks, but I never left… I’ve been living in the studio,” she says, before scampering off to the air ducts.
It’s Lohan’s first time on the show since 2006, and though she has maintained a good relationship throughout her public trials, she did send a letter to EP Lorne Michaels in 2011, stating she was upset by repeated digs at her expense.
She’ll be joined by musical guest Jack White, making his first turn on the show as a solo artist.
Lohan’s SNL appearance comes on the heels of another high-profile visit to the network. Lohan sat down with Today host Matt Lauer for a sitdown interview that touched on the 25-year-old’s public battles with drugs and alcohol, her convictions, jail time and house arrest.
