'The Big Bang Theory': Sheldon Cracks The Whip To Show Howard Who's The Boss (VIDEO)

Sheldon Cracks The Whip On 'The Big Bang Theory'

Fans who may have missed the earlier dynamics of the gang on "The Big Bang Theory" (Thu., 8 p.m. EST on CBS) before Bernadette and Amy added some estrogen to the group weren't alone this week. And Raj was just drunk enough to express his feelings about it when the girls crashed the guys intended weekend of shameless geeking out over an online "Star Wars" MMORPG.

Because Sheldon and Howard both have relationships at this time that are a little more committed and serious than whatever Penny and Leonard have going on, this 48-hour gaming session proved a potential problem. For Sheldon it conflicted with a commitment to go to a birthday party for Amy's girlfriend.

He completely missed the sarcasm in her invitation to ditch him and go hang out with his friends, and so he did just that. But while Sheldon was inadvertently standing up for himself with his girlfriend, Howard caved completely and just invited Bernadette to game with them.

Earlier in the episode, Howard had used a new whip crack app to emphasize how Sheldon was being controlled by Amy, so Sheldon was in this instance able to turn it back around on him. Especially when Bernadette was having Howard change his armor in game so they could wear matching robes.

In the end, some liquid courage allowed Amy to stand up for herself with Sheldon, causing him to almost realize what he'd done wrong. Of course, he made it all about his own greatness, but that may be the best she can hope for at this point.

"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
