Legacy: A Tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen
You are cordially invited to join Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum (TAM) on January 19, 2012 to pay tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen and celebrate the LucasFilms premiere Red Tails, which tells the story of these brave African-American fighter pilots who broke racial barriers, and fought tyranny and evil in the sky during World War II.
In addition, a fundraising gala will be held to raise money for our Aero Squad Afterschool Program and our Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Fund. Your generous support will go directly to giving every young, student aviator in our community the chance to become a pilot and to continue on the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen with the next generation!
The gala will feature:
- A special presentation by Fox 11 News' Christine Devine
- Opportunities for guests to meet Tuskegee Airmen from the L.A. Chapter
- Flight suits on sale at the door, can be autographed by Tuskegee Airmen. Call (310)618-1155 and ask for Debra Larry.
- Two state-of-the-art flight simulators linked up for dogfights and WWII missions
