Ray Lev (1912-1968), piano, performs the Schumann piano quartet in E flat major, Op. 47. Lev is is accompanied by Daniel Guilet (1899-1990), violin; William Schoen, viola, and David Soyer (1923-2010), cello. This performance took place in the early 1950s; I recorded this track from an LP manufactured shortly therafter by Concert Hall Society, Inc. (Annual series, 6; Release F-9). The reverse side of the LP jacket indicates that the LP is number 903 of a limited edition of 3,000 produced.
