CZECH for intermediate and fluent - conversation
- Thursdays 5:00 - 5:45 PM ET

- This class is for children who attended beginners’ class in the past but are not yet ready for conversation course. This course will practice learned materials from topics on introduction, family, colors, shapes, numbers, animals, foods, places, and will continue with traveling, living, educations, sports and other topics of interests. The focus is on creating sentences using verbs, building vocabulary, socializing with friends with similar backgrounds and will continue learning about Czech culture and traditions. This class will use props, games, music and videos for more interactive learning.

Czech READING class - čtení s porozuměním (od úrovně čtení druhého ročníku a výše, vyžaduje fluent Czech)
- Thursdays 6:00-7:00 PM ET
- Teacher: Gabriela Müller
- This course is for intermediate or fluent students who need to practice reading and improve vocabulary. In this course children will read short articles from different sources. Reading materials will be age appropriate and chosen to match the reading level and interest of students. There will also be language games, riddles, jokes, questions with short answers and choice answers and other fun tools to immerse into the language. Class is aimed to practice and improve reading, learn new vocabulary, learn about Czech culture and have fun with other students of similar background. It is also a great way for native speakers to keep and expand their language skills and talk and share stories and experiences with other students.

CZECH for continuing beginners
- Mondays 5:30 – 6:15 PM ET
- Teacher: Klára Pecková
- We will practice every day vocabulary and expressive sentences using essential verbs. We will talk and learn about Czech culture, introduce songs, videos and characters from Czech culture. Topics for the semester will review introduction; friends and family; daily activities; foods and drinks, housing, colors and numbers and will continue on shapes, outdoor activities, sports, music, arts and other topics of interest. We will incorporate basic writing and reading as well. This class will use props, games, music and videos for more interactive learning.
