Welcome to the Department of Orthopaedics
The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is the largest and most comprehensive orthopaedic group in the Rochester, NY nine-county region. We have nearly forty sub-specialists with expertise spanning every area of orthopaedics. Most of our specialists have completed extensive subspecialty training (know as a fellowship) in their respective areas of orthopaedics.
Our patient care orthopaedic subspecialty areas encompass:
Adult Reconstruction, (Evarts Joint Center); Bone Health, Osteoporosis; Foot and Ankle; Hand and Wrist; Orthopaedic Oncology; Urgent Care; Pediatric Orthopaedics; Shoulder and Elbow; Spine; Sports Medicine; and Trauma, Fracture Care.
Our Center for Musculoskeletal Research is making breakthrough discoveries for clinical application. We have been the nation’s top NIH funded Orthopaedic department since 2006.
