Overview
AT&T has identified an incompatibility between the Dell D630 model laptop and the Sierra Wireless AirCard 881 / Option GT Ultra LaptopConnect Cards. When either card is inserted into the laptop it will freeze / hard lock until the card is removed and the computer is rebooted.
Procedure

Download and install BIOS version A09 or later.

Workaround
IMPORTANT: The steps described below will disable Wi-Fi on the computer.

Restart the computer.

When the Dell splash page appears repeatedly press F2 to enter BIOS setup.

Scroll to and select Wireless.

Scroll to and select Internal Wi-Fi.

Select Off.

Press the Esc key.

Press the Esc key.

Select Save/Exit.

Once the computer has rebooted, insert the card into the computer.

Open AT&T Communication Manager.

Attempt to connect and browse.
